Establish and maintain a common sustainability and aerospace terminology framework that enables consistent communication, alignment, and understanding across all IAEG Work Groups, governance bodies, and industry stakeholders. The glossary serves as a foundational enabler for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the development of coherent industry guidance.

- Develop and maintain a standardized glossary covering key IAEG, ESG, regulatory, and aerospace sustainability terminology.
- Establish a sustainable governance process for the annual review, validation, and update of glossary content.
- Support coherence between IAEG Work Groups by promoting the use of common definitions and terminology.
- Align terminology with evolving industry practices, emerging regulations, and IAEG strategic priorities.
- Create both internal and external glossaries addressing the needs of IAEG members and external stakeholders

- IAEG Internal Glossary – Definitions supporting IAEG governance, Work Group operations, and internal collaboration.
- IAEG External Glossary – Public-facing terminology supporting the understanding of IAEG publications, guidance, and industry deliverables.
- Glossary Governance Process – Documented methodology for maintaining, reviewing, approving, and updating terminology.
